EMIRANDA CARCANI Attorney at LawEmiranda is a licensed attorney in Illinois with an interest in family law, immigration law, and civil litigation. She graduated cum laude from both New England Law | Boston, and the University of Illinois - Chicago where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Economics, and Political Science. Her professional experiences include: a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Judge Robert Tochka in Roxbury, MA; a student attorney at the NESL Clinical Law Office practicing family law; and, a legal intern at the Greater Boston Legal Services, Immigration Unit. An academic standout in law school, Emiranda won the New England Scholar Award twice, served as Associate Editor for the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law, and was a participant in the renowned Phillip C. jessup International Moot Court Competition. Additionally, she won third prize in the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorney's 2010 Law Student Writing Contest.
